Bye-bye 2011

Soo long 2011 you sucked haha. Sike, it sure was a roller coaster for me. This year was my year of learning experiences. I learned so many things about myself that I am grateful it has taught me both mentally and spiritually, getting me closer to my heavenly father. I learned so many lessons and have been through so many trials that I am forever grateful to get pass through them. The year started off a bit rocky then ended lovely with my little sister going on a mission. 2011 was my 1 year anniversary, with my wonderful hubby and my sons 1st birthday so it was a huge year for us. I am soo ready to see what 2012 has in store for us, any surprises or more lessons to be learned lol. Here are my 2011 pictures throughout the year :)

Big Brother!

Siupeli will be the newest big brother in town come the end of May. I can't wait because I hope he learns how to share and stop whining every time for nothing. He is so spoiled and babied by me and I have only myself to blame. I'm hoping it's a boy just cause it would be soo much easier and less expensive, he'll get all the hand me downs from his big brother Siupeli! We decided if its a boy then he will be named after his daddy Paea. Hubby of course wants a girl ever since from the begining. He actually wanted Siupeli to be a girl but too bad, he also sees the way he is with his baby cousin Vea, Siupeli is super in love with her. He gets super happy seeing her and she's the only one he will not be mean to lol it's weird, maybe it's a preemie thing since they were both premature? Who knows! If it's a girl we will name her after my little sister our sister missionary Sister Otukolo. We took her to the MTC yesterday and I feel apart after we left because my mom called me and told me that all Sister Otukolo kept saying was " I miss Siupeli, I want to kiss him one last time." When Siupeli was only 2 months Nancy was his babysitter so they were attached ever since. We use to call Nancy, Siupeli's real mom lol. I miss Nancy soo much but I know she is in good hands. See you in 18 months Nancy and we can't wait for you to meet your newest niece or nephew :)

Christmas 2012

This Christmas was alright lol wished I won the jackpot or something. Jk I'm just asking for too way much, since I got a iPad a month ago hubby said I was done lol. We went to Oakland a week before Christmas to spend it with the in laws for a few days , it was short but fun. That was my christmas gift to my hubby and it was suppose to be a surprise to my in laws but that failed cause hubby got too excited lol. My hubby's little brothers and sisters are madly in love with Siupeli it's special and I know my hubby misses and cherishes everyone moment he has with them. The weather was awesome and of course the steak cheese fries were mouthwatering. This years christmas happened to fall on a special day for my younger sister Nancy, it was her missionary farewell program soo it was a double great whammy! Her talk was beautiful and spiritual I loved it, I was balling before she even spoke lol, geeez I'm gonna miss her annoying self :) the food was awesome and being with family is always a fun time. Siupeli got toys and clothes all thanks to my in laws for sending him money to buy him presents cause we sure went broke after our trip to Oakland. Hubby just got shoes that were ugly but way too expensive lol and headphones that were $50 but were free thanks to RC Willey they give me free things just for being a loyal customer! My grade in the blogging world, a big fat F...Wowzers its been months since Ive last blogged, whoops silly me I think its cause work keeps me busy or wait maybe my son is getting to that age where hes getting to know how to do interesting things, he's a lil explorer I'll tell ya opening the cabinents and eating everything in there or anything on the floor soo that occupies me ALOT or maybe because my phone is annoying so I cant blog ugghh or noo maybe its called LAZY yea thats it! lol Soo many excuses BUT still no reason to stop :) Soo here I go updating you on the past 3 months!...WARNING this will be a long post soo grab some popcorn to keep you company :)

Siupeli's 1st birthday
OMG can't thank my inlaws enough especially my mother & father inlaw who made it possible for my big boy. We didnt spend a dime on his day! Yay...Although it wasn't what I wanted, it was perfect in the traditional Tongan way! 22 pigs, 1 horse and lots of manioke, all for Siupeli and his family to celebrate :) If I thought I knew what stress and multitasking was, I sure didn't cause it sure did kick me in the (cuss word). I was a taxi driver for my little sisters and brothers, so that cut into time of things I needed to do. A cook, which for those who know me, yea not a good cooker at all so I was a bit irritated I had to learn lol 
and a nurse because of course out of all the days while we were out in Oakland my son falls off the bed and hits the corner of the night stand and gets a big cut on his cheeks yup on his big day. Pissed off my hubby told to me to forget about it because he's a boy and boys are suppose to have battle wounds REALLY ..Can you say STRESSFULL haha, but it was all worth it in the end because even though Siupeli had no clue everyone there was their for him, I am thankful for those who were able to make it out there to celebrate his big day because we did feel the love!

Siupeli has a new baby sister :)
Well not really my twin sister Lyn, gave birth to her bundle of joy baby Vea Maryjane Tenifa. She is totally her dads twin I mean they do say the person you were most angry at while pregnant, your baby will look just like them lol. I myself is a true believer :) It's soo cute because Siupeli is always trying to kiss and play with her but his innocent self doesn't know that he's a bit rough with her. Which brings us to the subject of us having another one ummm for me when I see my sisters with their new borns I get baby fever. Hubby wants another one, but I'm still scared of going through that nightmare again,who knows?!

My lil sister Nancy Pamela Otukolo has made a huge decision and has decided she would like to serve the lord and dedicate 18 months of her life to serve a mission. Since the day Siupeli was born she was always Siupeli's babysitter sometimes we call her Siupeli's real mom because she saw him more then me because of good ole work lol. I am going to miss her, out of all my mommys girls Nancy was always the out going one. I can remember when we were little we would fly for free on Southwest and you know standby it can get annoying when you you dont get on, so we can be waiting at the airport for hours and Nancy will always make friends at the airport it was funny. We will surely miss her :)                       

Wowzers, this post has been in my file for months so I pretty much have more catching up to do! Thank goodness I got the iPad 2 so whoohoo I'll be catching up and surely get a A+! Until next time folks :)

It's Official!

Only one more month and twenty three more days til Siupeli's 1st Jammin Jungle Safari!......For days I've been comtemplating on whether to have Siupeli's big day here in Utah or in Oakland with the in-laws. My mother & father in-law has been asking us to have it their because they wanted it to be big and special because Siupeli is their first grandchild and is named after his papa. I wanted it here in Utah because I had so many ideas and everything I wanted was here in Utah, I wanted it fun for the kids and not no traditional Tongan birthday so the kids wouldn't be so bored. His colors would be red, yellow and green hence the Jammin part in his theme lol, I wanted a big slide and the end of it a pool for Siupeli's Swamp and have The Scales and Tails come out and show the kids real animals from the jungle, a kids dessert table with worms, spiders, bug candy filled in the jars, safari hats and buckets for each kid and fun safari games. BUUTTTT I gave into my mother in-law and told her yes because I mean my whole family flys free and they rarely get to see baby. My mother in-law was crying of excitement and thanked me and my hubby. 5 months of planning is now out of the picture because I actually had the heart to say yes to her lol. One thing I look at it being a good decision is that I dont have to stress about it or pay anything! YAY...So we shall see what happends that day! To be continued...

9 & 1/2 MONTHS :)

Siupeli is getting soo big his lil feet are dangling from his carseat lol He amazes me everyday and is quite the character! He is officially off of Similac and loves his Vitamin D milk yay! He loves playing with people so when its just the two of us at home he gets so cranky because he wants alot of attention, but I get so lazy to play with him because work drains me out. He gets so excited when we leave to my moms or my brothers houses because theres always kids for him to play with! Loves playing with dogs which shocks me because my brothers kids who are trouble makers are scared of dogs so I thought he would be, & now my hubby wants to get him a dog. Siupeli is my super handsome #1 accessory I carry all around every where I go, weather its to Wally World or just to my moms he is with me all the time. He's my lil sidekick!

My Music!

Lovers Rock, Rootsy Reggae, Dancehall, Stickly Reggae is what I prefer to listen to. Theres just something about Reggae music that makes me feel calm, but happy at the same time its like I can never get sick of listening to them. This past weekend by far was the greatest most memorable days this year! I was able to attend the Gyptian & Etana concert and let me tell u AWESOME!!! This was my second time seeing Etana perform and she rocked that stage, her voice was beautiful. Gyptian of course was phenomenal. I am a huge fan of Reggae Music thanks to my dad. His family is from Hawaii so he would fly back and forth and would bring back new Reggae CD's and we would all love it especially my older brothers! From Bob to Lucky to Big Mountain my dad had good taste in Reggae music. If there is one thing I am greatful for from my dad, it would be that, introducing me to Reggae music lol. Back in 2008 I was able to go to Jamaica to see the Reggae Sumfest, and check out Bob Marley's hood. Performers like Akon, Keyshia Cole and Lil Wayne were all performing but I was really excited to see all the Reggae artists because at that time, living in Utah no one came here to perform lol but Reggae artists from Beres Hammond, Richie Spice, Serani, Taurus Riley, Demarco, Busy Signal and Jah Cure were all there performing that night and you know that trip was SPECTACULAR. Now I love living in Utah its like there all slowly coming here to perform! Anywho back to the concerto we got VIP so u know we had backstage access, we took pictures with Gyptian himself and was super cheesin back stage lol! That night was definately a night to remember. To bad my hubby wasn't there to experience that night with me because he is now a big fan of Reggae music. It's soo funy because when we were dating he did not like Reggae, he said it was to slow hence he is from the Bay area (Oakland) so when you think the Bay Area what do you think? hhmmmm Hyphy right lol and now were competing to find good Reggae songs to listen to, ohh its the best! Each year its a no brainer what to get my mom on her holiday lol she loves to shop soo me and my sisters take her to buy her a dress for sunday and other things she likes! This year we added a lil bonus we took her to a spa to do her hair and massages. We love spoiling my mom on Mother's day because she deserves it! Single mother to nine she did everything on her own and still managed to spoil us. My mom is my hero and what I wish to become as I get older. She has taught me how to become a mother and to love and live the gospel as she does. Her faith in the gospel is soo strong and pure that it teaches not only me but my husband to always want to go to church because of the blessings she has received. I love my beautiful mom so much and is greatful for the woman I am today because of her! Happy mothers day Mommmy!

My name for my one and only lover lol. I met my hubby back in June of 07 and in the begining I really didnt like him because he wasnt my type he was cute but not what I dreamed about in my dreams lol literally everything he was, I didnt want in a guy he was just my cupcake no feeling guy lol...He was not LDS, smoker, drinker, a so call player and short lol but I guess you can say opposites attract?! We met at Oaklands famous burrito truck 55 Burrito... After that day I guess you can say the rest is history! Now LDS, secretary in the elders quorum, drug/alcohol free my Love changed everything for me & now is the world to me, even better then my dreams :) Our relationship was long distance soo who would of thought it would even last a month, but with his humble Love and just our Love for each other creating memories we made it work! My Love tries his hardest to make me happy, when we fight and I know its obviously my fault he is always the first to apologize or making sure theres food for me to eat after work, taking care of our son, working when he can or just being there when I need him the most. I love how he loves me and my flaws and doesnt try to change me. My hubby knows me too well and I Love that about him, me on the other hand always pushes his buttons and does not care what the outcome will be, because for some reason I know my hubby will always be there :) Happy 1 year anniversary Love!!

1st Easter!

This Easter was Jubilees 1st Easter and I loved it, even though it was soo last minute it turned out really fun. My mom wanted to do something fun with all 11 of her grandkids, but unfortunately some of my brothers and sisters had other plans so only a few were able to attend. We started the day with the kids painting eggs, coloring easter pictures and also had a easter word search game and Ariana won she found all the words faster then her aunt my little sister Sia lol. While the kids were busy enjoying the crafts Nancy & Sia went and hid all 237 eggs it was fun we made each kid their own easter basket and filled it with toys and candy! I know my Jubilee wont remember a thing but good thing I took pictures :) Happy Easter Everyone!

The day Jubilee was born, literally EVERYONE said he looks dead on his father Paea! Its soo true, it took me awhile to see the resemblence because for some reason I was soo use to seeing Paea that I couldnt see another person looking like him, wait I take that back because all of Paeas little brothers and sisters look like him! I wish I had pictures to show you guys, but anyways we made this lil one together soo I thought he would at least look like one of my brothers! When I was pregnant I would always wonder how this lil boy would look, never would I imagine he would look like his dad lol but im glad because my baby is handsome like his daddy! Its soo weird because they look dead on each other but totally different behavior for instance his attitude and being such a crybaby lol. Paeas back in Seattle and its almost been a month since hes been gone and everytime I miss him Jubilee is right there staring at me and he reminds me of his father, its like a comforting feeling I love these two headaches with all of me :)
OMG after writing this post i realized I hardly had any pictures in my phone of these two together lol I guess I can crop pictures of them but thats too much work ohh well :)

Jubilee's 1st birthdays coming up soon!!...umm not really more like 3 more months but hey I have been planning his big day since January lol. After all this plainning I decided his theme will be Siupelis 1st Jammin Jungle Safari! Im so excited because I have soo many ideas...The only problem is, is were we will be celebrating it, here in Utah or in Oakland with the in laws????!!!

8 Months :)

Soo my lil handsome is learning soo much as he grows! He is such a crybaby and I only have myself to blame...hey hes my first child I cant help it :) These past few weeks has been rough on my lil family but this lil boy always puts a smile on my face because of the things he is learning to do, it amazes me Im like a lil kid soo excited when Siupeli learns to do things on his own :)

Happy 6 Months to my FatFat!



                                                  6 MONTHS!!!

   Yay my Lil man is getting so big! There are days when I wish my son could hurry up and grow up, when he cant stop crying but then there are days when I'm holding him staring at his innocent Lil eyes and wish that he would never grow up! It's crazy to even think that my Lil boy was 2 months premature and was in the NICU for a month and a half because he needed to learn some things. Driving to the hospital 25 minutes away 3 times a day was soo much but all worth it just to make sure my Lil boy was ok! It all started when one of the days I went in for a normal check up ended up not being a normal checkup and my midwife telling me that I have preaclamsia and a possibility having to deliver Siupeli early or even a C-section. I just cried to my husband and telling him I just want Siupeli to be healthy & it was all my fault. At that time we were living with my mom and Ohh how I LOVE my mother she started crying too and told me everything was going to be ok because we just need to have faith, after that she told me she was going to the Temple. I am so grateful for my mom because without her faith and strong will I don't think I would of been able to be as strong as I was that day! YAY for moms! In the end I delivered My Siupeli naturally on July 31st 2010 at 3:38 pm weighing in at 4 pounds 14 ounces, now hes healthy as a normal 6 month year old!
   I'm SO in love with my son  its crazy, before I tied the knot I was always used to going shopping every pay day for me and buying whatever I wanted, but now that I have Siupeli its the opposite. We could be struggling with bills and I'm still driving to the mall to buy him an outfit lol. My hubby tells me to stop because hes too little and will grow out of the clothes but nooo of course I don't listen and still go! I guess I just want my son to have what my parents did to all 8 of my brothers and sisters, they always tried to spoil us!
   So far my Lil handsome is such a crybaby, my little sister said hes too high maintenance because she says if his diapers wet, he freaks out for someone to change it lol but hey for my baby shower all I wanted was diapers and wipers soo we just change my sons diapers like its nothing lol so I guess its not Siupeli's fault?! lol. Our storage closet is only filled with diapers and wipes good to last me for another year hopefully, that's if I don't have another one anytime soon! hehehe
